So I've heard that of all three Cyb Def team members, Scattorshot's the one with slight difference between his Hasbro & Takara version.

Have been searching for comparison pics and can't seem to find any, would anyone here happen to own both and/or could shed light on the differences? Have been hunting for the Hasbro ver with no luck and most likely gonna go Tak for this guy to complete the CD team.

    Many thanks!

Dont have pictures unfortunately but from what I recall if there are any it's pretty insignificant.

Additional paint applications on the Takara version:

    - Painted front side of launcher around missiles
    - Painted handle on hatch
    Comparison photos: Hasbro, Takara
    - Larger black areas on sides of launcher
Comparison photos: Right side, Hasbro version, left side, Hasbro version, left side, Takara version

Additional paint applications on the Hasbro version:
    - Larger black areas on top of launcher
Comparison photos: Hasbro version, Takara version

    Different paint applications:
    - Different size and location for "Cybertron Defense Team"/"Vanguard Team" logo
Comparison photos: Hasbro version, Takara version
    - The treads are painted in more glossy black on the Takara version; the Takara version also has the small area imemdiately over the treads on the front half (under the silver painted section) painted in blue, whereas it's unpainted black plastic on the Hasbro version.

Takara version looks much better. If in doubt always buy the Takara version :p

Except in the case of the deluxe size Cybertron Red Alert, which has more paint applications than the Takara counterpart.

That little area of black on the Hasbro version has always bugged me, but I didn't know that the Takara version had that painted. I even own Backgild, but I left the GF version MISB. Thanks for the heads up.
