    It should be all you need if your just gonna meddle with some photos and make a few sigs.

    The full-blown Adobe Photoshop is for the real in-depth stuff that graphic designers would do...and a lot of the features would go un-used by your average user.

    I use the full blown versions of photoshop and illustrator, and i can't imagine using anythng else, but like said above, it's for designers, photographers and such.

    elements is great for what you want to use it for.
