I'm shopping around for a G1 Hun-grrr figure and noticed that many of the pieces I see online are prone to yellowing. For those of you who own this figure, has the yellowing gotten worse? Do any of you own one that still has bright white pieces? And if so, how do you keep it that way?

I don't recall Hun-Grrr ever being "bright white." Maybe a duller white? Either way, I have mine right here and he hasn't yellowed. I didn't do anything special. I guess I was lucky.

i wouldn't buy one that was yellowed. but hungurr is more of a light gray than white.
shouldn't be too hard to find one that isn't discolored.

I've lost a few TF's to this in the last few years, Jetfire, Superion, Searchlight, MIB G1 Ratchet and Hun-grrr.

Seemingly leaving them alone in a locked room with zero sunlight for four years wasn't the way to go.

There is a thread on here on how to reverse the yellowing process. From what I remember reading there wasn't really any damage done to the figures. A quick search should pull it up and you can see what all you would need to do this. I do know you would have to replace any and all stickers, as these are supposed to be removed beforehand.

    Hydrogen peroxide!

There was a thread on here with pics on how plain ole "Hydrogen peroxide" (that you can buy anywhere) will whiten up ANYTHING! I took off all the stickers on my Jetfire from 1985 and soaked him in 3% Hydrogen peroxide for 3 days. He looks brand new! Anyway find that thread there was a lot of pics.

No yellow on the one I have. Of course he isn't white either. He's gray. Like all of them except the KOs.

I've gone through two. The one I had as a kid yellowed fast, and the one I bought a few years ago and stuck in a box in my closet with the other terrorcons. It was still it's proper color when it went in the box, but had yellowed when it came out a year or so later.
