I have a question for those of you who own the Universe Sideswipe/Sunstreaker/Red Alert mold...when transforming into robot mode I can never get the arms to look right. Is the shoulders suppose to fit inside the wheel well somehow??

I always pop mine out of the wheel well so that they can sit right. Otherwise they look like they're attached just below where his rib cage would be if he were human.

    pics would help us out

but im guessing you may have missed something the part on the back of the wheel with the ball joint for the shoulder can spin to help bring the shoulders up to look more in line with the rest of the upper body, if that helps you any

if not try looking up a review for one of them on youtube, it may point out something you may have missed in the trasformation

i think that is one of the better molds from that line IMO

look at the swivel, there are two points, the bar should go between them

The whole arm is connected to the body via an S shaped rectangular bar. You can swivel it up about half an inch so the shoulders don't look like they're connected to the midriff.

At first I meant the shoulders didn't look right because of this:

but then after playing some more, this looks better:

but on Sunstreaker, since his body is the reverse, I still haven't figured out how to make it look right...

It's... the same way on all of them. The way you have Red Alert in the second pic is the same way you should have Sunstreaker.

don't feel bad; when i play with mine, i never can remember or i just can't decide if those spoiler halves are supposed to be knee guards or if they should go on the sides of his leg.
in the end, they go where the mood tells em to go, lol.

as for the arms, the only advice i can give is that i place them as high (and even) with the shoulders as possible and they look all right.

but that's not really the best advice, i bet.

Rotate it around the same way on sunstreaker. the fact that his body is the other way around doesn't really matter. rotate the shoulder down, and up towards his chest. Not towards the back.

To make it easy, just rotate sunstreaker at the neck and waist so he looks like red alert. move his arms to be just like red alert's. then turn his head and waist back around but leave the arms alone.

You've got it right for Red Alert. For Sunstreaker it needs to be in the same position, but remember Red Alert is reversed from Sunstreaker. SS's chest is Red Alert's back and vice versa. So the swiveling bar should be pointing to the "front" of SS and to the "back" of Red Alert.

EDIT: Valkysas beat me to it.

Yeah, I was just explaining it a bit more in-depth.
