I am just wondering Takara dosen't use any kind of toxic paint do they?
Errrm, because it's Toxic?
I just ordered a Buster Optimus Prime and Jetfire two pack so I am just wondering well you know.
It shouldn't be any more Toxic than the paint in Hasbro TFs. In fact many Hasbro and Takara TFs are made in the same factories these days.
You may be thinking of the 'infamous' IGA TFs from Mexcio which were pulled from shelves due to 'dangerous' levels of lead (?)
Toxic paint is bad for business.
I highly doubt it, the Japanese are pretty high-tech. You may be thinking of China or, not as much nowadays, Korea.
Hasbro and Takara Transformers all adhere to the same safety standards. As Takara markets theirs at a younger audience, you'd expect them to be more safety conscious, even.
Don't stick 'em in your mouth and you should be fine
It would probably only do you harm if you swigged it straight from the paint can.
No man, you shouldn't have bought those Takara versions. You'll poke your eye out with them.
Don't suck on their toys & you should be fine.
^but they make great pacifiers...
until you get blurred vision and your pee turns colors- if it's shiny, it's Henkei, lol.
but no toxic paint for kids these days
Paint should be fine.
As for the plastic... well when the material decays you should be able to smell that out. If that makes you sick then I guess it is toxic.
I don't think they are.
Still, either way, don't stick them TFs in your mouth.
Scary foreign paint.
You should really look into what it is American brands put into your food and water supply.
