    I was thinking of using white spirits to remove the red detailing at the front part of HFTD deluxe Sidearm Sideswipe's vehicle mode, and I just have two questions regarding the method;

    1. Is it possible?
    2. Does the end result look good?

    Could someone please provide an answer for me. I don't want to try it and end up ruining the figure. I'm not in the mood for buying another. Also, could some please post pics of the end result if possible?

    Thanks in advance.

    Pain in the ass to do, and fairly strong chance you'll go through the silver as well, exposing the grey plastic underneath.

    I've no problems airbrushing the flames out for you if you want.

    Edit: Actually i believe i have spare Sidearm parts here. So long as you're handy with a screwdiver, i can just paint them and post them to you.

    I've been tinkering with some paint thinner, as opposed to white spirits....and those red details are starting to shift.

    Poorly.

    One side the flames went straight off.

    Otherside they stayed put and the silverpaint rubbed off instead.

    So it's back to the Airbrush.

    Sorry.
