I am working on removing this pin from this joint. It is the claw arm of Energon Shockwave.(Upper arm) I want to remove the pin so I can open the 1/2s and re-use the joint. I want to disconnect the existing arm and replace it with another one that will rest in the same joint. On one side the pins are exposed and on the other they are hidden in the plastic.(see pics)

So the question is...How do I take these apart so they can be used again?

punch the pin until it puts a dimple in the other side, then drill a hole there so the pin can come through. It won't hurt anything, and in the end the two sides will merely look the same.
