I was thinking about buying this series, but I don't know what to buy. Theirs a Perfect Collection, a Platinum Collection, and Death and Rebirth/End of Evangelion 2pack? Is there anything else I'm missing? Any Evangelion fans out there that can help me? I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

 

Platinum Collection is what you are after. End of Evangelion is the movie that replaces the last two episodes of series.

So just buy Platinum Collection and End of Evangelion once you have watched all the episodes and remember after you have watched it all once, what it again you got so much more out of it second time around.

LOL...Yeah, AnimeNation has it for $53.99. I was thinking about buying it there.

End of Evangelion $22.99 at Amazon.

So about around $80 not including shipping.

Best I found! But yeah, I can feel the heat in my trousers already. 

 

53.99 sounds good for an entire series. Just a little more expensive than a new PC game.

 

I think Evangelion will cost more than you think.

Once you have the series, and the movies comes the toys...

And there are a lot of them... Charater figures! Character Statues! Eva Unit action figures! Toys toys toys! And a few Video Games as well! Must have everything EVA!!!

*Ahem*.

 

Platinum edition FTW. Not only do you get the whole series (including director cuts of certain eps), but the special features kick ass. VA commentary = YAY!

 

Ain't that the truth. I just bought hte Platinum Collection myself. Next thing I knew, I had a Soul of Chogokin Eva-01 on the way.
