I know "What I've Done" by Linkin Park kicked off the trailer. What were the other pieces of music used?

Well if you listen closely there's hints of the original TF theme in the orchestral piece starting at the shot of the aircraft carriers and ending just after Starscream transforms and the voice-over says "Our enemy can take any shape..."

I just don't hear this original theme... which version of the original theme is it closest to?

The origional theme, specifically the "more than meets the eye" part.

It's only a handful of notes being played between the lady watching the speech on TV and Screamer transforming, but it's definatly there.

Edit: actually listening to it over again a few times makes me beleive it could be the "robots in disguise part" but it's all how you pace it. It sounds like the composer did a very good job paying homage to the origional theme.

I just watched the trailer a dozen more times specificially to pick out this supposed G1 theme homage. I agree, there are some note transitions that *could* based on the original theme, but there is certainly nothing "definite" about it. If anyone has to listen that closely to hear a couple of familar notes, I wouldn't say it accounts for much.

I hope that we do get some sort of G1 theme homage either in or after the film, but I wouldn't hold my breath based on the audio provided in this trailer. More than anything, I think we're hearing what we *want* to hear in it.
