Was the half of cybertron destroyed or did it return to the normal place? And why did the ships all seem to follow it and have blur lights pull them?

Hard to tell, at least for me, I hope it wasn't destroyed if that counts.

From the synopsis I read of the movie, it said that it imploded on itself, but other sources are not so sure it was. That ambiguity leaves a lot to be desired if this was indeed the last film from this continuity.

My real question is what happened when the pillar was interrupted. Seemed like Cyberton got cut into a 3rd. I would venture a guess that there was a reverse polarity and it sucked the dropships and decepticons back through the space bridge...but it's all speculation at this point. That's why they call them "loose ends" and "suspension of disbelief".

I think it's destroyed. The scene where the beam got interrupted showed CLEARLY explosions all long the planetary structure. To me at least that tells me that it's gone...at least the section that got bridged in.

It sure looked like it was destroyed. It seemed like the whole planet imploded on itself.

Maybe Optimus now has to live in a space ship similar to what happened to Mr. Spock.

I saw it as it not being there physically yet because the space bridge was still pulling it through. It was showing how much was coming, like a viewport.

When the space bridge collapsed the material stopped coming and it was replaced where it came from because the process had not fully finished.

If it was indeed destroyed, the TFs are now an endangered species since the only ones left are the Autobots on Earth, any protoforms/Decepticons left after placing the Space Bridge parts, and any TF left in space.

i think it is pretty much gone, when it started to do the circle thing and basically imploding on its self, that was that.

I'm pretty sure it was destroyed, I know my girlfriend leaned over and asked if Cybertron had just been destroyed.

I gotta go with Wheeljack94 on this. It looked to me as if the space bridge only ported in about 1/3 or half of it. If so, then cybertron will still be functional..... i assume.
