This may be an odd question, but how in scale is Masterpiece Grimlock with the Classics line? I've been planning to buy him, and wondered how in scale is he to the figures in the classics line? Thanks in advance.

He's pretty huge - more massive than your typical Leader Class. Maybe not taller, but certainly bulkier all over. Not really a good fit, he's bigger than just about everyone.

^ this is why he is a perfect fit. We get used to all the toys being similar but the dinobots are supposed to be huge.

i think he fits in good due to the fact he is so big. back in the g1 days the dinobots where bigger than all the autobots even bigger than prime if my memory serves me right.

I don't have any classics figures, sorry.
But here's a picture of Grimmy with ROTF Bumbebee and a ruler.

Oh, I agree Grimlock is meant to be a big guy, but the Masterpiece is just too big. Prime's head should really be nearer his shoulders not his waist in my opinion. You could probably get away with it in another line, but as Classics & Universe focused mainly on smaller characters, I feel a big Grimlock sticks out too much.

Yes, Grimlock fits in well with most of the classics line. It's Sma-optimus and Ultra Magnus who are too small.

Grimlock doest mesh perfectly with the classics range (IMO), because the MP08 uses higher quality materials and because the classics are modern renditions of G1 characters..not actual renditions of G1 characters.
But if scale is what you are looking for this is probably your best bet.
