    Hello everybody

I could technically e-mail hlj about it, but I figured I'd get a faster response from one of you guys.

When paying by paypal over at hlj, do they charge the ~4% fee on every order? I'm asking because I've seen order based stores do that [toywave for example] and others that ignore it [like fantofan].

Asking because I think it's time for a change of payment method for me...

I haven't noticed them charge the 4% fee so I'm guessing, no.

I thought the days of charging more for a form of payment were over? Like when retailers used to charge more for credit cards than cash or check. Wasn't there a law passed to prohibit that?

Yesterday I paid HLJ for my MA-18 Nightwatch Optimus Prime via Paypal and no charges.

It's a Paypal ToS violation if they are and can get their account terminated. It's in there best interest not to.

Toywave.com has charged me a 4% paypal fee over every single order I've had with them in the past year.

Glad to find out that hlj does not support that fee, many thanks.

I shop there alot and have never had that 4% fee deal.
They are slow now, though. They were like lightning until the move. And right by christmas too. That was excellent planning. :p

Maybe its christmas that made it slower. I remember last christmas it was similar. And it was slow a bit BEFORE their move too

They apologized and sent long emails about how they're getting flooded with 'where's my order?' emails because they had some problems taking longer than expected setting back up after the move. I mean, hey, those things happen, but to do all this right by christmas really sets em up for disaster. I got my stuff quick just before they moved. I didn't even know anything was off at first because I was getting my stuff in the usual 3-4 days after processing, but then processing a week after the move became a 3 week thing.

Well all things I've bought from them went out faster than at BBTS. I paid for my MA-18 the 13th and it went out the 15th.
