On borders.com the description for volume 3 is

It says it is going to be issues #0-5

But there are still like 5 volumes left after that. So is there going to be a volume 4? Or is just a mistake? Because I thought there were only going to be 3 volumes.

 

No idea. I mean, this was supposed to come out years ago. IDW hasn't confirmed anything. I had this on preorder from Amazon. They canceled it, then put it back. It's scheduled for Mar on Amazon, but I'm pretty positive this is just going to pushed again.

 

I wasn't asking when it was going to be released though.

 

There won't be a volume 4 because they never finished. The comic ended after Megatron returned to earth. They were in the middle of a new storyline. Blame Pat Lee

 

I thought it was going to be the entire run 0-10 whatever the final issue was. Hell, the Sunstorm arc ran through 6. I think this is just wrong information.

 

I know it wasn't finished but I still wanted all of the ones that were released in the 3rd volume, but I guess they will do what they did with War Within and not finish it. :/

Yeah, there should be another volume, because the Starscream-Jetfire storyline actually ends in issue 6 of Dreamwave G1. I figure Volume 3 is 0-5 because it fits in with IDW's six-issue TPB format.

 

Are all seven (0-6) in Dreamwave's TPB?

 

Yeah I know, my point is no one really knows. There is no official confirmation what it's going to contain. Amazon might be right, might not.

 

There never was a DW tpb of vol. 3, to my knowledge. DW crashed and burned before it could be released.
