Well, basically, I was thinking that Universe Cyclonus would look pretty cool holding his original gun. However, I don't have a G1 Cyclonus and (before I drop some cash on one off eBay) wanted to know if anyone whom had both figures could tell me if it fits or not in his hand (some G1 weapons do fit in their Classics/Universe counterparts hands). Pics would be nice, but not necessary.

    Thanks in advance guys! :thumb

Just tried it.... he can hold the G1 gun just fine (though it rides a little high in his hand). Ironically, the Universe version can hold the gun much more securely than my shallow-fisted G1 version can.

Sorry, I can't provide pics right now, but it looks pretty decent. Honestly, it's not too different from the updated Targetmaster he already has, just a bit smaller. Actually, the silver-grey plastic that makes up G1 Nightstick's legs is pretty darn close in color to Cyclonus' silver-grey plastic, which looks nice.

What about the weapon he had before he was released as a TargetMaster?

Oops. Just realized you were talking about the original pre-Targetmaster gun, not his G1 Targetmaster. Sorry! Unfortunately I only have the TM version, so I can't check with the original gun.

Derp! That's okay, because when I read your post I thought that was the gun you were talking about (his original one) and only just realized when you posted this that you meant his G1 Targetmaster... teach me to read something in a hurry while I'm headed out the door... :lol

Soooooooooo... anyone got the original G1 gun and a Universe Cyclonus? :D

If the Targetmaster fits the original won't. All of the 86 TF's that got re-released as Targetmasters had their fist hole diameter increased to fit the larger gun pegs.

Oddly enough, I don't have a G1 Cyclonus but I do have his gun! The first thing I did after I got Cyclonus (or as he is known to the Shaolin, The Toy of a Thousand Wins) was try the rifle. And everyone is right, it doesn't fit. If I pick up a second Cyclonus, I may drill a hole in the closed fist to fit the original rifle.
