For those who have ordered transformers from the uk based seller forbidden planet, I have a few questions.

Do they pack items with care?

Do they offer decent shipping prices to the US?

How would you rate their customer service overall?

Depending on the feedback you all provide I will decide whether to order from them or not. Thanks.

Apparently enough of their pre-orders go unfilled, w/o proper contact on their part, that you should maybe think about other options if the item in question isn't currently marked in stock.

Don't bother. i've never had anything but lousy customer service from them. i'll sometimes buy items in hand from their London 'superstore' as its local to work but it tends to be overpriced. out of interest, what were you looking to get from them?

It's the same for me to in NYC scuba. I have been going to fp since jr.high school in the 80's as they had two stores(now one). I have seen this trend if that what you would call it that comic shops put the whammy mark up on there toys,to the op it's a crap shoot to try them toy wise IMO(I'll bee going to all the comics shops in NYC on sat free comic book day fp included). Just my two¢.

Don't bother if it's a pre-order, they don't know their product range in the slightest, they seem to over price their Japanese stuff considerably compared to their USA stuff...

I've never had a problem with them, but I've only ever bought high (ish) end stuff of them (£50+ each) and I live in the UK. Never bought TFs off them.

    Edit
I've bought stuff from www.forbiddenplanet.com, not www.forbiddenplanet.co.uk. Not sure what the difference is if I'm honest.
