I was playing around with my Animated figures when I started wondering, what drivetrain setup do the cars have? I'm thinking...

    Jazz: rear-engine, all-wheel drive
    Blurr: mid-engine, rear-wheel drive
    Bumblebee: front-engine, front-wheel drive
    Lockdown: front-engine, rear-wheel drive

I figure Jazz is an updated Porsche 911 GT, Bumblebee's a hot-hatch, Blurr's an exotic and Lockdown's a muscle car.

    What do you guys think?

Bumblebee is RWD, one of the episodes (the one where they go camping) shows that, though I'm sure the animators didn't think that out too well. He always reminded me of an opel corsa.

They're cybertronian, do they have to be constrained by the limits of the vehicles they scanned their alt modes from?

Kids could care less if the TFs are AWD,RWD or FWD.

Yes and no. They seem to get some capabilites or gadgets of Human Vehicules (like Fanzone Police Radio). But in the end, they have more endurence and Speed than Earth Vehicules.
