Hi guys I need help. A friend is selling me the Walmart Destructicon Scourge for a very fair price. Today I examinated the figure and compare it with my G2 Hero Optimus Prime and I noticed something.

On my G2 Hero Optimus Prime I can blend the 2 front parts of the truck inside the legs as you can see on this picture in TFU INfo:

But I can't do the same with Destructicon Scourge, it's so hard I think I am going to break it. So the figure has to keep these little parts outside like this:

Is it a problem with all Destructicons? I think it has got a small tab that avoids the little panels to go inside.

    Thanks!

Try loosening the screws where the legs attach at the base of the legs.. THere should be 3 on each side.. 2 upper and 1 lower set... Also, I can't remember exactly since it's been a LONG time since I transformed this guy (and the one I own right now is still sealed...).. I think you can slide the legs slightly apart on that pin that they swing down on so that the upper legs align with the lower legs, thereby allowing full transformation.. not sure if that makes any sense ;)

Thanks! In fact I can transform the figure perfectly the problem is with the little front panels that are in the fron of the truck. Look at the second pic of Destrucitcon Scourge, the are outside the legs, those are the panels that I can't trun inside the leg as I can do it with Hero OP

Now that I DO remember, unless I never transformed him right.. those 2 panels were never able to fold inside like they can on Hero Prime.

I once had scourge and mine folded outward toward the front of the truck if recall correctly. Not a good figure, IMO, so I sold him along time ago.

And I thought I was the only one with the "tight flaps" problem....

On my Scourge, I can fold the flaps down, but one of them is rather difficult. The other one is nigh impossible: I'm always feel like I'm about to break it right before it finally folds in, and half the time I end up pinching my finger in the gap.

You can't hotlink tfu.info's images. Only a tfu.info logo will show up.

But on my Scourge I can fold those flaps in... it's tight, but it was tight on my Hero Prime too

    Thanks for the info guys!

I notices the Destructicon has got some small tabs that avoid the flaps to bend. I think I may cut them off a bit and that would be all.BTW my HEro OP never had that problem.

Thanks, I forgot it was KB's exclusive, I was in a hurry when I posted the thread.

The figure is loose but complete and as good as new (that was that impressed me more) He offered it to me for $22.

Thanks for the support guys! Of course I will get it Nappy!

sto_vo_kor_2000 thanks for the offer, but since I live in Peru and the seller is a friend of mine here, the price is great since I don't have to add shipping and I love the mold of G2 Hero Megatrons which I also have, but I don't really like the color scheme they used for Bludgeon.
