Right i don't know if this has been brought up before but a few moments ago i was fiddling with my cybertron prime and i found a little button on the left leg section, the bit that snaps onto the back of his leg in supermode, there isn't one on the right, does anyone know what it is for, i can post a pic if people don't know what i'm on about

There should be one on his right, also. at least there is on mine. :)  Last I heard, no one really knew what it was for. Or if they did, I never heard.

Well, being curious and having both Prime and a screwdriver handy, I opened up his leg in the hopes of diving the purpose of the mysterious button. Alas... I got nothing. Closest thing I can figure is it may have been intended to be a release clip for the leg attachment.

They're spring loaded clips for locking them into the vehicle mode position. Check out where they rest when they're clipped onto the wing/backpack/cannon section.

That's what I thought, except that on mine, in vehicle mode, nothing's touching them.

Seems to be a remnant from the design process. Currently those bose buttons do nothing. With or without Wing Saber, they are pointless. But they definitely serve no purpose now.

This is the correct answer to the question.

except that they don't. On all 3 versions of mine, nothing touches those clips.

They work on mine. They sit in a groove that helps to stabalise the rear section.

Then you're doing something wrong. Because they should rest just above the bars that slide underneath his armpits.

That's odd. On all 3 of mine(cybertron, Galaxy force, and the cybertron repaint) those tabs aren't touching anything.

If I don't snap the 'backpack' down to those sections, then they sit there. But once I snap them down, there's a good gap all the way around the black tab.

I don't hink that's the purpose for those buttons. They're too small to hold the weight of the truck to the backpack. But I do see where they look like they could connect.
