    hi there!

so i dont have any version of the classics prime add on sets, so I was just wondering if they can fit with the ko classics prime mold. Also, I would appreciate if someone can post a pic of city commander with maybe classics prime, as I doubt I'd be able to afford ultra magnus.

Also is there any major differences between the original and the ko, because at around 1/3 -1/4 of the price I would gotta go with the ko

Before I bought mine, I thought the same thing. But looking at online comparision shots, and reviews I realized there is really a big difference. Between the mold and paint apps, quality is not even close. Go original, its worth the money.

The K.O. needs to be epoxied to fit tighter.(Thats what i did)
And parts need to be glued together.

Some people prefer the looser legs on the KO as the originals can be a bit tight.

You may need to bulk up the inner part of the shoulders on the KO city commanders especially - the KO dia commanders have been slightly improved and fit a bit better.

KO cab units have some issues with a funny face and the wrong pins being used obstructing the parts articulation and the closure of the cab in vehicle mode.

A genuine Trailer should fit fine on a knock off a knock of trailer is slightly poor fit on a genuine cab and even more so on the knock off. but the only bit that is a real issue is the shoulder. a good solution is to use those spongy sticky backed pads on the inside of the shoulders. tape or resin glue or a few coats of varnish also works, best to use something that won't damage the cab underneath though.

Both knock off trailer and cab are fine for display and the issues with the wrong pins isn't really a problem with the armour on - it also free up you original cabs for play and display.. so I say buy a cheap KO cab and think of it like an exoskeleton to put the armour on. (fake or otherwise).

Go with the original if you're planning to display the armor. I wouldn't suggest the KO for anything but customizing.
