The Official Teaser Trailer for "Quantum Of Solace", sequel to Casino Royale, is now up on YouTube. Honestly, this looks like the first film all over again, heavily inspired by The Bourne and The Transporter films.

 

Sweet! It's supposed to pick up right where Casino Royale left off.

 

Which were in turn heavily inspired by the James Bond franchise. Bond still does it better.

Besides, this film is rare in that it's a direct sequel to the previous Bond outing, picking up literally minutes after the first film ended.

 

This is correct, neither The Transporter (whom I have a great affection for) nor Bourne have a song dedicated to them.

After all, nobody does it better.......

Looks good to me. I'll more than likely go see this in theaters, and probably with my father as we're both Bond fans. I'm not sure why, but for some reason I get the feeling that this guy would be a good choice for a Popeye movie. Only thing he'd have to do is put on the right outfit and train himself to do the Popeye voice (or if they have to have someone else do the voice work).

 

This is a bad thing?

 

I fucking love the reinvention of Bond.

The first half of Casino Royale was great. But man, that last half... I didn't pay $9 to watch Celebrity Poker.

The trailer for QoS certainly looks kickass. Here's hoping this one will be card-free.

 

I don't see what you're complaining about, even a rudimentary knowledge of James Bond would have told you that since the film was Casino Royale, that a major part of it would be a card game. To be honest I thought they did the card game well, added some tension between Bond and La Chariffe(sp)

 

Al I can say is  

 

Looking good, I kinda enjoyed Casino Royal, I guess   I have yet to see a modern Bond film that's as good as some of the older one though.

I think that's a premiere too that a Bond film is a direct sequel to the previous one. Diamond Are Forever followed the general event in OHMSS, but nothing as direct as what I see in this one.

But I don't see what the film will ba about, Bond want revenge? From who? Is there a bad guy or something? Who's that red-head Bond-girl?
