They exist, but I'm having a hard time thinking of anything. Do Animated Jet twins count?

How about the energon autobots? They had the modes

    1) Robot
    2) Vehicle
    3) Shirt
    4) Pants

Landcross could similarly be considered a quadruple changer, as each member had a vehicle and robot mode, a combined mode with one other landcross member, and a giant combined mode for the whole team.

then you got 6 changers. Then there is RiD/CR Gigatron/Galvatron mold which people have found countless other modes for beyond the 8-10 official modes..

    A very good example.

What about combined / super modes?

    Powermaster Prime had

    1) Truck mode
    2) Small Robot
    3) Large Robot
    4) Base mode

Changers aren't really combiners of any type.

Edit: I just remembered. Though not marketed as a "changer" Sky Lynx, a combiner, had ads that mentioned the 4 modes. Tank, lynx, shuttle and whatever the other part was called. Of course the combined mode as well.

Also the six changer (sixshot?) had a commercial where the kids would say "I found 4! I found 5!" in ref to transformations.

    How about Darkmount/Skullgrin?
    A: Bot mode
    B: Tank mode
    C: Cannon mode
    D: Throne mode

not official modes, but it works for me!

I think calling Shockwave a quad-changer is a bit of a con (despite the fact that he was marketed that way). Whilst there's some reasonable variation in his robot modes, his vehicle modes are so similar that counting them as distinct is a bit of a stretch.

Much like the MP-09 "Rodimus mode" is really just Hot Rod reaching for something on a high shelf, Shockwave's "Decepticon tank" mode is really just "Autobot crane" mode aiming low.

The scramble city combiners have a base mode. They should be mentioned as well.
