QC for this latest batch of generations is really disappoitning.
I was happy when i finally got my hands on the toys...ripped open wheeljack and started transforming the bugger....was busy fidgeting with the transformation and didnt really notice....

then when i completed the transformation and had enough playing with him, the legs are too short if you verify with the instruction sheet ( i even remove the screws on the leg compartment to see if the legs can be extended further!)

i realised, the face was only half or a quarter painted....damn crappy.

then i went on to Warpath...very nice mold...

    but....

stress mark at somewhere near the knee...and the problem is that part is not even a moving part!

As for scourge, not very ideal either..the wings cant clip onto the back (ala MP rodimus)...the right arm falls off easily making it very difficult ot transform to bot mode as yo uhave to pull out the arms from the shoulders...the arm would drop off before you can get the bracket extended outwards...cant use super glue otherwise you will be seizing the shoulder..crappy crappy crappy..

I see two pictures that you should've emailed to the customer support of where you purchased them from for a return before even thinking about posting them here.

    That beyond blows bro.

That's just how Wheeljacks legs are. It's not a QC issue.

The disconnect with Wheeljack's instructions vs. the actual toy comes from them using 90% of the illustrations from Tracks', whose legs extend out further. There's no problem with the toy itself.

The partially unpainted face sucks, though.

Stress marks aren't considered QC issue.

Ever since the new figs have come out, they've all had QC, especially stress marks.

This. Providing the retailer with photographic proof of your claim will always expedite the return/exchange/refund faster.

Yeah, I'm having pretty crappy luck this year too:

Tracks: came with two right hands. (exchanged)

Scourge: Two left forearms w/hands. Noticeable in package even after I got over the initial excitement of my purchase. (exchanged)

Not many other problems for me in RTS/Generations but 2 out of 6 is a pretty big ratio of defects in the same household.

Wheeljack's shorter legs isn't a QC concern, he's remolded so his legs don't pull out as far, otherwise you'll see the grooves in his upper legs.

My Wheeljack's door broke off at the hinge due to a faulty pin, and just yesterday, one of my Wreck-Gar's handlebars broke right off.

On a happier, yet slightly off-topic, note my order of the 4-pack of RTS Legends shipped from HTS just now! :)

That stinks about Wheeljacks face, but as everyone has stated, that's as far as the legs go. It's not a QC issue on that, because the legs were new molds. But the face is an issue.
Also, on Warpath, are you sure that's just not where the plastic was cut at the sprue at the factory?
And last, for Scourge, a little Future finish polish on the ball of that arm won't seize it up. I put a drop on the ball joints on the legs, and let it dry, popped the joints back on, and better than new. The left wing on mine isn't tight, but that's due to the pin meeting the plastic. I'd rather have it loose than so tight it could break.
WreckGars hands on the other hand were very tight holding his weapon, and I could see a bit of a stress mark, so I sanded the weapon down enough that there is no longer any issues.

Sounds like you got some duds there...that sucks man. I've got everything but Warpath, 4 copies of Scourge, and I haven't gotten anything wrong. Wreck Gar has those stress marks in the hand but I'm not too worried about that part. As for Wheeljack, he is indeed supposed to be short and stubby looking. His instructions are TERRIBLE as it is still pretty much showing you how to transform Tracks rather than Wheeljack.

That sucks. Sorry to hear about the problems. The worst I've had to deal with is a decent scratch on one Scourge and the little part that connects the arm to the shoulder is on the wrong way on the right side of my other. I must say I kind of like that Wheeljack. The lack of paint on the faceplate makes it look like one of his experiments exploded on him. Like others have said the legs don't extend very far and there isn't much you can do about it.

The peg on my Perceptor broke on first transformation, the one that basically joins his front and back torso together in bot mode. What a flimsy little tab.

Yeah, you should promptly ask for an exchange since it wasn't even cheap to get these figures from RK initially. :redface2:

In the worst scenario, IF RK doesn't acknowledge the case & even deny you of an exchange, I believe the Radicon in you would solve that "paint issue" without a hassle. :D
