Alright. So I sell lots of joe and transformers accessories on my ebay store. About a week ago I sold a '93 Ken Masters machete to some guy, sent it out and get this response about it today.

"Hi, I have recently bought a machete from you and I must say I was surprised at the size of it. I am very disappointed with this item. I was under the expression that this was a full size machete. I would like for us to discuss a refund."

WHAT??? Are you serious??? Did you read the frickin' title or even look at the pic? I wonder what kind of refund he expects since I spent money to send it out. Should be interesting...

In case you are wondering what was said in the VERY misleading item Here it is:
G.I.joe Ken Masters machete - eBay (item 390024129325 end time Apr-23-09 18:41:57 PDT)

    *facepalm*

This isn't the first story I've heard like this regarding toy accessories.

Sadly, if he opens a dispute or leaves a very unwarranted negative, Paypal & eBay will defend his stupidity.

That is the funniest thing I've seen in a while lol. I thought it was a full size machete, lol! Guy trying to buy a full size machete on ebay for $1 is prolly a loon. Atleast he can't go on a killing spree with the toy. Should tell him sure you'll give him the $1 back but he has to pay the $2 shipping to send it back, haha.

Actually I did. He kind of pissed me off at first with the whole thing because of the possible backlash. The more I think about though, the funnier it gets! I guess if I gain the negative, at least I can post a response to it.

I can't say that this surprises me (unfortunately) & the fact that he might win the dispute if it goes that far is a sad commentary on the overall intellect of society as a whole... but keep us posted this is just too funny :lolol

I absolutely hate how ebay changed the rules so that buyers can't be left negative feedback. That used to keep both sides honest, and gave the seller a way to vent on stupid people like this.

I had a lady leave me a neutral because the Deluxe All Spark Bumblebee MISB she bought off me for $15 was only 5 inches tall. She thought it should be at least 12 inches tall if it was 'deluxe'.

This happens to me lot in ebay, espacially after ebay changes the rule last year.

First several times, I was really angry. But later I just get used to. Because no metter how you explan, ebay protect him. Seller doesn't have any tiny chance to win. And you will loose all the money and get a negative.

So, If I were you I would just give him all the money back and stop communicating with him. More you talk to him, more angry you feel. It is not worthy.

ROFL....becuase that really looks like a real machete, rigth? You know, what with the complete lack of any sharp edges or a sharp point anywhere, the plasticy sheen to it and the slightly warped look to it (no offence meant there to you).

My God, how on earth did we ever reach the top of the food chain?
