It's a starscream head. I just trimmed around it and dremeled his pointy nose.

Beautiful work as always  . I can't wait to see the rest of the Aerialbots. Are you planning on keeping their alternate mode (ie F-4 Phantom, F-16 Falcon, Harrier, etc, etc or do you plan to update the alternate form?

    Thank you :)
Well, my plans are to keep them as close to their G1 alt mode as possible as far as the aesthetics are concerned because I may not have the small details to distinguish an F-16 to an F-15...I have no clue what I'm talking about but anyways, Skydive is gonna keep his jet mode as close as possible and that's where i'm stuck now because he's got one reactor and not 2...

By the time you have all the other Aerialbots finished, Universe Silverbolt will probably be released. :)

    This figure looks awesome, dude!

My only suggestions would be maybe a wash or some panel lining, as there's something about the stark white that makes him look a little unfinished. Perhaps a little bit more surface detailing on the white portion of his chest?

    Thanks guys

I had planned Devastator for about a year and a half but for Superion, it's a day by day case. Air Raid was the easiest to start with since the jet mode is about the same as Ss but with the others I may have alot more headaches.
I had purchased a KO oversized Superion some time ago and I'll take some of them parts to reshell the new aerialbots. Alot of sculpting is involved and I have to think of 3 transformations...Well 2 and the one to make it combine.

There is no diff in size for the individual bots. IMO, Devastator was made with 6 deluxe figures...Superion 5 but Silverbolt will have to be bigger. The individual bots will not be parts-formers but Superion will be as I had made Devastator, I'll need hands and feet...the rest is still unknown to me.
So basically, Superion should be about the same height as my Devastator...I'll try because I plan on making a diorama.

looks good ptitvite, can you post some pics of his vehicle mode when hes done drying out? Also, will he be able to combine with others to make a classics Superion? There are only a few that would be able to accomplish that, and youd be one of em.

EDIT: ok, so you've answered that combining question... shoulda read before typing... my bad.

WOW. I absolutely LOVE that head work you've done on him man! One of my favorite aspects to this piece is that he has a really cool anime/magna vibe to him. You've won me over and this is just the first limb. :lol

    GREAT work, buddy! :thumb
