Just got into this show and am watching the Tuesday the 17th (My birthday this year. It's the 17th always. :D ). I'm loving this show, quite happy that Monk and Psych are so close.

I LOVED tonight's episode. Awesome F13th parody. Loved that the camp guy's name was Jason (as in Vorhees) Cunningham (as in director of the original F13th)

"You two were my least favorite tag team ever.." - Shawn
"Even with Iron Sheik and Nikolai Volkov on the table?" - Weird dude

The psych out at the end was hilarious. It was a direct parody of the jason scene in the original. Had Gus in canoe and Shawn's Rick Astley pinata (man sized now) comes out of the water to grab Gus. :lolol

I love the show because it is loaded with pop culture references and like the quote above shows, there is no reference too cheesy to ignore.

also, it is like Scrubs in one sense- Shawn and Gus are such close best friends that sometimes i think they are having a Bro-mance. (although not nearly as severe as JD and Turk, lol.)

    great show.

My favorite is still the comic book convention episode that guest stared George Takai as himself. It was hilarious.

I loved the twist of this week's episode. Only time that I've enjoyed an episode more than the corresponding Monk episode. Killing Kevin Dorfman on Monk is so dumb it's not funny. I was so shocked that I couldn't enjoy the episode, not that it was any good. It could've been better, by a large margin. But this week's Psych had little room for improvement. :)

I'm a big Psych fan, I started watching it close to the begining and have seen all the episodes. Plus there's some fun content on the website (One of my favorites was them calling Lassie).

This show has managed to keep me watching, while I lost interest in Monk, The Mentalist, and other similar shows. I think it's the pop references and the laid back attitudes.

The Mentalist is a horrible combination-knock-off of Psych and Monk. But nowhere near as funny. :-\

I like the guys antics but I don't watch that much, and for a long time I honestly did not know what the show was about besides solving crimes. I enjoy quirky inter-racial-friend humor, present in shows such as this and Scrubs.

    Season Finale=Win.

I still think that they should have a Monk/Psych crossover. It would be too awesome for my TV to handle. I'd have to use a combo of my DVR, chains, and very large novelty remotes to hold all the awesomesauce in.

Excellent episode. Nice to see Shawn be super serious and Gus tries to provide the comic relief. I was so into the seriousness of the case I didn't laugh like the others. When I saw Ally Landrey I recognized her. Couldn't place the name. I knew Breakfast Club and though Molly Ringwald, but then remember that was the red head. Then I recalled the name.

I liked Lassiter solving one of the clues correctly. Insane logic but it was great. Liked the guy Mary with his limp handshake.

Psych is awesome. It is well written, clever, and funny. Monk lost all this. I hope Psych lasts longer than Monk and stays funny the entire time.

I was really hoping that Jules was going to figure out that Shawn has been faking the Psychic thing.

That's one hell of a choice between Maggie Lawson and RLC.

    Summer seems so far away.

Last nights episode was full of the win. I loved Gus trying to provide the comic relief for Shawn....that was priceless....the MJ bit was friggin hilarious...

This was the first killer in a TV show that I was definitely scared of.

After the disappointment that is the Monk season finale, that didn't deliver what it promised, Psych totally delivered. D-E-L-I-V-E-R-E-D. :D
I had no idea that Yang was a freakin' girl! That chick is messed up.

Thought I'd bring this thread back so we can continue discussing our favorite fake psychic. I really love the psych-outs. So funny.

I go to their panel at comic con every year, last year they did a musical number with the entire cast singing the show's theme song.
