The option to not boot up the UMD is welcomed by me.
OMg Y U NOT HAVE DS?!
GAH! Don't ruin this thread with Nintendo talk!
Seriously, when you hook your PSP to your PS3 you guys are going to go "Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!" and then be all and then \o/
For that to happen, I would have to get a PS3, but I sadly don't have 500 bajillionmillionZOMGhundredthousandfdsjhklhdskjaf dollars to buy one
Thats what people said about the GBA connected to the Gamecube....
The psone emulator is definitely awesome on a stick. The way they have gone about implementing it is weaksauce.
I'm sticking to the homebrew emulator. There's no sound and it goes at, like, 1/3 speed even with the frameskip cranked, but I don't have to go out and buy $700 worth of equipment to make it work.
Amongst other things!
Sounds good, seeing how I have a canadian PSP I should be able to download this right now?
Which was a glorified controller. Dull, boring, and most of all, uncomfortable.
It seems superficial. I updated last night and the visualizations with the music player were cool and the turning off booting to UMD is grand but other wise its all just useless. Until they let me download PSone games directly to my system I'll still only be using it to get online in bed when I can't sleep.
You know full well I have a DS.
Fine, get me a free PS3 then.
Though I will be updating my PSP to the new firmware.
I'll get you a free PS3 right after you design me a buildings innards... for free.
What is this "Pee-Es-Pee" of which you speak?
I agree with Boardwise, big <3 for being able to turn off the UMD Autostart (if I read that correctly).
If the PS1 emulator's going to be working WITHOUT a PS3 by Christmas, I'll be quite happy.
I'm sure this update destroys all the newest homebrew solutions.
No thanks, I'll stick with my 2.71 henC and DEvhook. At least with that I can bump the CPU to 333Mhz.
Fine, I will design you a building innards for free.
In addition to the above, I went to grab the update just now (looks like it's been released worldwide) and found that it wasn't ver 3.00, but ver 3.01
After a quick look about the net it seems there was a slight bug in ver 3.00 which has now been fixed and the new version is out.
Keep it, iPod FTW, nerd boy.
