Nothing cool nothing bad. I still find it funny that people expect firmwares to be an entire reinventing of a system. I wonder where that notion started

My PSP has gotten an update in the form of a Genesis emulator. I can't believe I never even considered going down the Sega road before, it's always been Nintendo stuff for me.

It's like a whole other planet of games that I've never played.

Oh, I dunno, when Sony started putting stuff in that people wanted day 1?

The problem here being that it doesn't deserve a thread, especially one with that many exlamation marks.

The thread title is all "OH GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD SO GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD!" when in actuality it's nothing even approaching that.

I never noticed Sony putting anything that I wanted or didn't want day 1, but then again, that's when things like firmwares were new to me. Say for example, when the Iphone updates, it's always a big deal because there are usually really good functionality updates. The PSP has never really had any major updates, and the Blog usually states the updates in a very matter-of-fact sort of way.

Hey MegaMoon, are you playing Genesis games? There are SO many great Genesis games to experience.

I am now. I'm sticking to RPGs for now, since I've never played any of the Sega ones.

Phantasy Star 4 is the shit, as are the Shining Force series. All of these still hold up today, in terms of entertainment.
