Don't care about the peripherals, I will only support this if it has a way of playing my old UMD's, and even then, there is too much coming out this year. Then again, being an owner of a PSP probably doesn't make me a target audience anyway.

The PSPgo form factor is eye-appealing, but for the rest, I fear a massive fail :(

So....But a PSPGO for $250 and lose all kinds of functionality, with extra peripherals needed to use the extra peripherals. Buy the still available PSP-3000 for $170 - $200 (depending on bundle) and get all of the functionality of the Go, plus all the functionality the go removed.

True, and if you do get the $170 version, you can use the change to pick up some UMD games that still work on it.

The only attractive thing for me is the portability, because I stopped taking my PSP to work when I got the Iphone, and I think I could see myself taking the Go to work jampacked with some games. But the growing pains are too much for me right now, financially and lazzily.

PSP-3000 is going to drop to 150 dollars if we get the same price drop as Japan.

Well...Damn then. That's an even bigger reason to simply avoid the Go right from the start.

mine has fallen down stairs out of my pocket while riding my bike and had a green tea bath yet still operates like the day I bought it....two years ago

after seeing this Periphial i'm really considering buyin a GO (mainly cause my GPS died and I need a new one)

either way whether I buy a 3000 or a Go Sony's still emptying my Wallet so it doesn't matter to me.
