    Does anyone here have these?

    They're $13.98 or less at Target (B&M).

My uber brief research shows that the component set must be connected to a progressive scan enabled TV to get games onto the screen. Otherwise, there should be minimal issues.

Also at Target is this ...

But this cable only allows for pictures and video on the TV, no games.

I'm just wondering about the performance of the first set. Any experience is appreciated.

I have the first set. They are a little too short for me. They could use an extra 5 feet or so.

Also, with games they don't fill the whole screen. There are bars on the top and sides of the game on the TV due to the native resolution on the output of the PSP.

Are those for the original or the Slim PSP? I was tempted to get some, but I don't want to bother if they won't work on my regular.

Slim only. The composite cables will output games if you use hacked firmware, apparently. Seems Sony may have locked it out to try and push the expensive cables(which no doubt are meant to work best with HD Sony brand TVs).

As I don't mess with custom firmware, I'll wait and see if Sony allows composite game output, as they apparently keep up with some of the hackers. I'll buy a set of cables then. Shame they didn't make an s-video cable.
