What about ROTF Devastator? Does it have rubber parts?

No, there is absolutely no rubber on any ROTF Devastator, supreme or legends.

Both my ROTF Bludgeon and Demolishor have this problem, but Rampage is perfectly fine. It seems a matter of which kind of material they used.

just to put this out there rts wreckgars handle bars... (i have 6 of this mold 0 issues)

but the treads on the 2 cuplrets feel diffrent to all the other plastics so i think it might just be those two, espelly sense we havent heard of any other characters with this issue

Crankcase's dreads may also have this issue, or it could just be how the pins they're attached to is transparent red plastic, either way mine are detached and the red plastic surrounding them appears to be disintegrating or something, the red clip parts just came off pretty darn easily.

could be more of the fact it's a thin piece of transparent plastic holding it together

Same thing happened to the right dreads on my Crankcase--I'm pretty sure the thin, transluscent red plastic just crumbled, but I guess the rubber could have affected it too, but the left seems ok for now.

It's just tight pin hinges on translucent plastic. I'm entirely convinced that the pins are only there to hold the dreads on; they're not actually meant to be moved. Besides, they're not nearly as bendy as Bludgeon or Demolishor's tracks, and seem to be painted, so I don't think there's anything to worry about.

For this thinking about a layer of paint might stop this I highly doubt it. Makes one of two things a sticky mess or will have no affect on the plasticizer affecting the plastic.

Might be as simple as cutting out some paper and sliding it in between the parts that are touching.

My GDO Megatron is in the very early stages of this. It hasn't stuck to the arm or thighs yet, but the plastic tread link on the shoulders are rubberizing. So yeah, heads up to anyone with Cloud Megs or Botcon Gigatron because this seems to be a reused rubber formula.

Just checked my demolishor who has been on storage for many years and luckily there wasn't much contact with the treads. I did hear it unstick a bit when moving it but nothing crazy yet.

They aren't, though. It's a soft plastic, but I distinctly remember them not being quite the same as the treads on ROTF Demolishor or Bludgeon.

Doesn't save the rest of the figure from being an enormous steaming pile of crap though.

So, still no confirmed cases on Rotf Rampage?

I'm so conflicted on whether I should finally buy one or not.

I've owned two Rampages (and gotten rid of them) and I can safely say it's not a toy you should go out of your way to get. If it's in a lot with at least 3 other toys you want more, then that's a sign you should at least try it.

I don't know if it's at risk as I got rid of them before the reports of ROTF Demolishor and Bludgeon came about, so maybe that's another reason to avoid it.
