Yeah, I saw these FCC filings this morning. I'm not quite sure what the hell Sony is thinking but if they can pull it off then I'm looking forward to seeing something innovative.

If you mean half-assed motion controls, then I would agree.

Except Sony didn't base their entire system on it, thus half their games aren't broken.

Agreed that's one of them, but I beat it with those controls and pretty smoothly too, :)  and even now that they have the new patch I still play it with mo.

Best use of Motion controls though it making your Sack headbang!

I liked Folklore's use of it as well.

Yeah Wipeout works sweet, and I love Ratchet and Clanks "Maze Ball" Puzzles.

You know what's insane. I've been a real whore with Iphone games lately, and I am amazed at how well motion is used on some of those games. Sony and Nintendo should take note. I mean some are just as simple as controlling a spaceship, but it never feels pointless, like the wii, or broken, like some of the PS3 games.

One of the games is a simple space shooter and it is not only fun, but works very well, and the other is a Birds-eye-view chopper game, like Desert Strike on Genesis, and the title controls are awesome.

Motion control works well when applied correctly, and works as an addition, not as the ONLY control scheme. Also, while I like the notion of touch sensors like the Iphone, I like physical buttons to mash on.

i just find my accuracy is way less with motion controls. give me an analogue stick and i can be way more precise.

Yeah, I would kill myself if motion took over, but I don't mind it if done right, just not as a complete replacement.
