Rocketman is pretty awful. Haven't played the rest, although Pixeljunk Monsters was well received critically. I think there's a demo available of it for those who want to try it.

Wish Everyday Shooter was included in this. I want it, but because it has been on sale for $5 before, I have a mental block that prevents me from paying $10 and waiting if/when it goes on sale again.

High Velocity Bowling is really great an alternative for Wii Bowling. Sure, you need to adjust the spin on your ball with the shoulder buttons and it'll be awkward at first, but unlike in Wii Bowling you can actually throw the ball at different force or how you say it.

Pain is kind of fun. Probably worth $5. Dan is always talking about PixelJunk Monsters so that can't be all bad.

Ive only played the demo, I actually havent had time to play Pixel Junk Monsters since I bought it.

I bought high velocity bowling when it came out and I wasnt too fond of it.

But I will most likely pick up Pain for $5

I enjoyed Monsters a lot. I havent played enough to say it's worth the original price but I'd say $5 is great.

Pain should have been $5 to begin with. I bought it on recomendation from a friend and there's very little there. Its a very fun but I was expecting more than a single stage.

Monsters and Pain are definitely worth 5 bucks. Pain is just a fun, pass the time game.

Do the Add-On packs for Pain make the game more worthwhile for people who have it? I'm going to try the PixelJunk Monsters Demo tonight to see if it's worth it. But I'd like some opinions on Pain before I commit.

pain's pretty cool, the add-ons are just extra characters, maybe one of them is an extra level i think.

its kind of like crash mode from burnout, but with people instead of cars :D

Yeah, Pain is the same city (though there is a new city coming up). But the replay value in it is great, in that it's fun to experiment (try to make it into one of the Smoke Stacks).

Monsters is definitely fun and has some expansions.

Honestly this is just my opinion, but I have the most fun with Pain because there are so many ways to hurt this guy, like closelining him.

    Pain is pretty ok.

PJM is fucking awesome and super hard. Get it! It's basically desktop tower defense, with a few twists. You might pull your hair out, I know I do, but it is wonderful.

A little. You put up different types of defensive towers that have different functions at defending these little guys from invading monsters.

Yeah, basically you have a small village in a forest and you convert trees in to towers that defend the village from monsters. Different towers do different stuff. The monsters drop coins, jewels and other stuff you can use to level up or buy better towers with.

Strange game, but still very interesting.

How is that? It looked promising, but reviews have not been very good.

Well I only got to the second level. Bosses are kinda tough, but thus far it's very enjoyable. But I'll put it this way. I enjoyed the Commando Remake, in the same way I enjoyed this remake of the old arcade, so if you liked Commando's style and playability, then you might like the way this game was remade.

I really wanted to get Siren, but I have to beat a few games before I dive into another game that requires some time put into it.

So I wound up buying PixelJunk Monsters. Not disappointed at all. Don't know if I could have justified $10 for it, but it was well worth the $5. Lots of fun.
