    Rumour is the slim is real, with a pricedrop. This is coming from a retail source who also leaked the 360 Elite drop to $299.

    Keep that in mind.

    I think everyone who wants a Wii or a 360 already has one, so a PS3 price drop could be the ticket for them to shift at Xmas but it may depend on a major title being avaialble at the time too.

    I don't see it.

    I don't see the reason for the Wii selling was down to its price. (if that was what you were implying :) ) Myself and my friends bought a Wii based on its "unique" & "new" features along with making gaming a family experience, the price had nothing to do with it.

    The cheaper price on the PS3 may make it a more likely purchase but is price ever the sole factor when it comes to a video game console purchase? Its one of the factors not THE factor (for I :) ).

    in my humble opinion the ps3 now has enough quality exclusives to make it worth buying...

    The one thing I do agree is smarts about Nintendo is that I own the Wii not because it provides adding entertainment to the PS3 and 360, I bought it because it's something else to entertain. It's the ultimate emulator for my old, and loved games, and the games that are unique to the system aren't trying to compete with Halos and Gears out there. It's something "ELSE" to do.

    Of that there are is no question. I really do own more PS3 exclusives than 360, and Fable and Mass Effect are the only ones that truly are WIN for me. The shooters only impressed me in their initial launch (Halo 3 and Gears 1)
