Haha, nice! Reminds me of those HP commercials!
Bullshots. No way that's functional.
That's what I was going to say. No way it works THAT well.
Minority Report, anyone?
How can they see anything without staring at the screen?
It looks like it's dripping with potential.
If it works as well as they make it out to be, I can imagine tetris like games where you half to grab and turn pieces and make them fit. Or boxing games that take your image and produce a silhouette of a boxer facing the appropriate way.
I'll be impressed once it's working in a game. For now....meh.
Another Sony pre-rendered video, it's obvious that it couldn't possibly that functional. It doesn't matter how powerful the PS3 is, it's entirely dependant on the software. Judging from their last offerings, that's pretty much impossible
Yeah, we'll see.
reminds me of the HP commerical (the part where they grab stuff from here and there).
now, if it only works as well as they show it does.
C'mon, Sony! Just one more dimension and we have Holodeck 1.0!
HAHA, they wish it worked that well.
They had that on the SEGA Eyetoy package thing...
I want to know what those Japanese guys are saying.
'So, does it really work that well? Because it looks very impressive Jimmy-san!'
'Hell no! But this kind of video keeps the shareholders happy. Half the time we can churn out any old kawaii bullshit and they lap it up Buntaro-san!'
'Yeah, those guys are baka'
actually, they had a live demo at E3 where this level of interaction was shown off. a guy was manipulating two in-game cups and pouring water from one into another, just by waving his hands around.
ya right, just like the power glove from Nintendo! suuuuuure buuuuuudy.
