PS2 and Dreamcast Games On PS3? | IshTalkers
Kind of makes me sad cause I don't have a PS3 yet. Sega would be smart to make it multi-console, they would make more money that way.
This would be cool if it does happen.
*Crosses fingers* So many games left known but available to few...
this would be nice...though from all the DC games that i really liked, about half is already out on other systems.
I want my Soul Calibur on HD, please!
its on 360 arcade already, in all the heavenly HD glory.
If Sony do start making you pay to download PS2 games that THROUGH THE POWER OF MAGIC work on your PS3... that's the biggest bullshit fucking move ever.
Unless they sell a standalone "emulator" at a reasonable cost.
Hmm that sounds like it could be pretty cool, i'm thinking of picking up a PS3 Slim this week and it would be cool to have some old Dreamcast to look forward too, Shenmue anyone?...
No, not Shenmue....though I do need something to help me sleep.
I'm thinking more along the lines of Shining Force, or Shining Whatever They Called the Dreamcast Versions.
Everyone would be smart to make things multiconsole, yet GTA4's DLC is only on 360.
"No Way, two can play!"
Shenmue 2 please. it was on dreamcast in japan.
I'm sayin'. This would certainly explain their stance on BC for PS2 games. WTF?
An emulator is indeed what I've heard rumors about. Lemme go see if I can dig up the kotaku reports from a few months ago.
Yeah, here we go.
Sony Patents Method To Emulate PS2 On PS3 - PS3 - Kotaku
and missing the mission mode.
Virtua On 2 please
I don't understand why this would be a big deal. if they did have emulation on the ps3 slim, you'd still have to buy the physical game to put in the system. the only people left out would be those who had a ps2 and sold their system but kept their games, which doesn't seem likely.
a PS2 Sonic game? The only one I can think of is Sonic Heroes or or the Sonic hoverboard one. I mean, it can't be the collection because that's better to sell individually on PSN.
Separate names with a comma.
