So I've got this key on my Hp Notebook that reads prt sc, for print screen but it won't paste. Do I hit CapsLock first, or hold down ctrl key?

I could do a print screen from my friends desktop, so would it be differ. for a laptop?

This forum is for issues with the site here.

But I have an HP and I know what's up. Your prt sc has a border around it, right? Hold the fn key, next to ctrl, on the lower left, when you hit prt sc. Then you should be able to paste your screen cap.

Laptops have fewer keys to save space,so the fn key works like a shift key will get you capital letters.
