wish I owned that... Also my Rodimus collection pales to yours. However, I'm happy to know that you get it, and Hasbro rodimus gets to be prime, while the Takara one is Hot Rod. So many people on these boards have it backwards. Rodimus prime is the more saturated red, Hot Rod is magenta dammit!
Where people get confused is the sticker decals and tempographs on Hasbro's MP Rodimus, while yes they are indeed meant to homage the G1 Hot Rod 1986 toy, the colors are clearly that of Rodimus Prime while the MP-09 Takara release is more like Hot Rod You have to buy MP-09 Takara Rodimus Convoy, 2010 Primus & Unicron, Sons of Cybertron Henkei and Sons of Cybertron Animated. Each has 2 Robo Points, send in all 10 and you get this in the mail.
While I get the obvious reference in the leg stickers, theres never really been enought to soildify that deco as Hot Rod over the Takara version, especially for people to say 'I'll use the takara version as Rodimus' as that version IS the Hot Rod deco exclusively except for the 86 movie where they shared colours. I can see the Hasbro version as Hot Rod if it's the only one you have, but if you have both... The Hasbro version is soooooo Marvel UK Rodimus Prime.
The reason I use the Takara one as Rodimus Prime and the Hasbro one as Hot Rod is simple. I only have one Rodimus Prime trailer and the colors on it match the Takara Rodimus better than the Hasbro one.
I love the colors on the Takara one SO much more than the Hasbro. Too bad I'll never get to see it in vehicle mode. I've never transformed him, and those panels that are prone to break have bad stress marks already. Looks like the metal pin they put in was too large for the whole and it stressed it during assemble. Too bad I don't have $200 just lying around to buy the second version... So there was no clue to the next MP with that soundbase?
Wow, that should have been in the hasbro version. I thought the tru rodimus was random but now I see they did amazon unicron in a similar fashion. Hasbro can stop that right now.
I thought there was a clue to who would be after Prime, but maybe it was Prime and we found out a really freaking long time ago and I forgot.
Are these the only ones with Robo points in them? Can someone post an image of what they look like? Are they on the box or inserted somewhere?

Love that classic pull cord toy. The Galvatron is a lot nice IMHO though as it pulls the hunk-of-mostly-one-color-plastic trick better of than the Roddy imho.
