Fail to see why that's trolling, I stated in the MP-04 thread that I preferred the Protector upgrade, he's done merely the opposite.

Anyhoos, Protectors looking better and better, as soon as Kapow's got the pre-orders for Side-arm up then they're both ordered.

 

Titanium Roddy Prime is well better, IMO.

Though they will all get blown outta the water when MP Roddy is released.  

 

Super-stoked to see this with the Henkei mold. Hotness and just the right shade of red!

I'll have the Targetmaster dedicated to Classics Rodimus, and use Protector with the Henkei. Galvatron got to time-travel and team up with his past self, now it's Rod's turn!

 

Awesome..... good year to be a TF fan. Burning up the wallet this year for all the releases.

 

The mold looks nice, but I definitely hope they do a good job with the paint as it looks really bland as is.

 

Looking pretty good! I hope they get the wheel on the trailer to match. Looks a little odd as it is.

 

I'm not seeing what all the fuss is about with this one. City Commander was great. This one...not so much

 

For all the haters . . . this is an unpainted prototype. The shape has been known for a while, and we had shots of the concept art for the color scheme.

No doubts its gonna be awesome. We already knew that FP uses this sort of clear-coated matte look, as in Defender and City Comander.

They'll add silver for the pipes, yellow/gold for the spoiler and flames.

After seeing the G3 trailer's awesome, shiny gray, you gotta respect FPs paint selection.

I highly doubt that there is a matrix, there is no space between the armor and the chest. Also there is no hinges for that to open up

 

  so says the Rodimus Convoy sig owner!  
But yeah, that's a shatload of awesome stuff right there!

Don't know if I'm feeling this. I saw it in person at Botcon, but after seeing pics of MP-09 this just doesn't have that pop to it that it first did. I Think I'm going to have to pass on this one and just keep the black protector armor instead.

 

I agree. A matrix would be awesome, but it seems like it would have already been mentioned by Fansproject, or listed on one of the the pre-order pages. All I'm seeing is:

1x Guardian
1x Carrier
1x Helmet
1x Body Armor
1x pair of Protector Arms
1x pair of Protector Leg Armor
1x pair of wing extensions (orange)
1x rifle extension

 

The chest and crotch piece are attached together on a hinge.

 

I'm so glad that I have this on pre-order. The MP is certainly nice, but I can't justify the cost of that guy. This, however, looks fantastic and is a great way to get an updated Rodimus for much cheaper! I can't wait!

 

Looks good. I'll get this and MP-Hot Rod if it's released in the states.

 

I'm at least an order of magnitude more excited for this than masterpiece Rodimus. Don't get my wrong, the masterpiece mold is awesome and immaculately G1, but at the same time, still just G1. I simply find this creative extention of the G1 aesthetic to be far more interesting.

If I were to propose a new term for it, I'd call it G1+.

 

The alt mode looks like an ugly-arse winnebago. So 95% spot on as a G1 update!!!!!!! =P
