That is a great-looking figure!

My only complaints? Should be bigger - and yeah, the whole "hollow TF" progression in the recent figures is kinda crappy. I understand it, but that doesn't mean I like it.

 

No reason for it to be anywhere near a $100. Should be $45 that the current leaders are going for.

For support when standing. Clearly he has quite a bit going on on his back. I'm GLAD he's got large heels.

Looks great but that chrome looks odd.

i like the fact that hasbro is going big..i do not like the fact that this seems like an upscaled delux or voyager fig....all the hollowness and open voids really deter from what would other wise be a solid fig..and that chrome.. ...

still will be picking this up tho..and no way in hell is this better than kronos

I wish this came with pilot figures. What's the point in having an opening cockpit without them? Even spark/holo pilots

 

It's funny; awhile ago the basic transformation scheme of this figure reminded me of the Deluxe Thunderwing/Sky (/Black) Shadow, except this is of course larger, more involved and is getting a much better fan reception, if memory serves.   Seeing as that basically hits on the head the man criticisms most fans seemed to have with those Decepticons, I wonder if anyone has thought about what a retool or custom of Leader Jetfire into either of them would involve or look like.

To cover the basics, either would need a new chest and head. To that, if anyone - Hasbro included - has the resources and motivation to replace/modify the nose & cockpit section with stores a deployable drone that transforms this time, like say oh I don't know, a Transformer   and one around Scout sized or in the new Legends scale, I would be beyond fine with that!

Thoughts, anyone? Don't get me wrong; I'll happily settle for this and/or the Takara counterpart, whatever it may look like. I'm just curious about if and how this mold might be reused.

 

Looks good, but I'll wait for reviews before getting him, but damn I am impressed by how it looks!
