Yeah, I'm trying not to get too excited about this game I kinda doubt it'll be released here. It looks really interesting though! I have to recheck the list of confirmed characters. I can't remember most of them off the top of my head. But I do remember being happy with a lot of their choices. Max for Tales of Eternia needs to be in this game!

I don't know a lick of Japanese, is the combat system similar to the older Tales of games? It looks like it but you're obviously not seeing the bottom screen.

I really do hope this does get released here. It looks great.

It's essentially the battle system from Super Robot Wars OG: Endless Frontier. You load up the combat screen, and you start juggling enemies with chains of attacks that you can choose by using the attack buttons and directional presses in a timed manner. The idea is to keep the enemy in the air without letting them touch the ground while you build up meter to do various super attacks or character switches. There's no movement or any command complexity outside of knowing the timing of when certain attacks will drop an enemy, and you won't have much on the bottom screen other than a list of your party members and their stats.

The thing I remember the most about Endless Frontier (other than the ridiculous double entrendres) is that every battle took FOREVER.

I would be excited if I wasn't so sure this game wouldn't leave Japan.

Actually, the guy who produces Tekken's been campaigning for this game to get localized:

It's good to know that there are inside officials that wants to see this game get localized, whether or not they'll follow through and actually do it though remains to be seen.

Is it just me... or does the PXZ Original male character look a little like... Apollo Justice?

No, no you're right--he totally does look like Apollo Justice. While I'm excited for this game, was it really necessary to make all the women jiggly?

Ah, thanks. That sounds fairly interesting actually.

Sorrya, SNK has nothing to do with this game so that's not Joe Higashi. EDIT: A quick Google search tells me that he is Akira Yuki. I'm a little bit sad that I didn't even think of him. You can tell that I've never payed attention to Virtua Fighter.

Yeah, I remember reading on Nintendo Life that Harada would like to see it localized. Which is cool but I'd prefer not to get my hopes up. There's a reason I don't pay attention to the new Tales of games until a NA release is announced...

EDIT: I just looked up a list of the characters on IGN. http://ca.ign.com/articles/2012/06/27/the-stars-of-project-x-zone

I'm really happy with this list. I've heard of most of them surprisingly. I was really surprised to see Kite and Blackrose in the trailer. I played .Hack//Infection a ton and I wish I could've found a copy of .Hack//Mutation because I didn't pick up the other two without the middle game.

But I noticed that I hardly know any SEGA characters. Meh, I had fun with Tatsunoko VS Capcom and I didn't even know half the characters.

I know, there's maybe two or three characters from Sega's roster that I recognize

Yeah, I'm pretty happy to hear that and quite surprised. I didn't think this game has even the slightest chance of being localized.
