Operation Rainfall Okay, so I'm not sure if anyone here has heard about this, or if people actually care, because it's a Nintendo-based petition/event. Nintendo of Japan has some pretty awesome games, like Xenoblade- a massive JRPG that has an open world bigger than Texas (generalization, it's still pretty damn big), The Last Story- a JRPG made by the creator of Final Fantasy, and Pandora's Tower- an action RPG akin to God of War combat but featuring strategic and time-based gameplay. Seriously, look at these titles before you judge. Xenoblade has some gorgeous graphics and the scale is incredible. Last Story looks like a solid, strategic RPG with a buttload of originality. Pandora's tower is a interesting an new take on combat-heavy games, featuring some impressive puzzle elements. This is a Wii game... However, though Xenoblade has been announced for a European release with an English dub and all, and Last Story and Pandora's Tower are in discussion for Europe, Nintendo of America has yet to release any information on these fantastic titles, making fans believe that they'll be shafted on some legitimately quality games before the Wii finally passes on. Well, screw that. Nintendo fans have united under Operation Rainfall, a plea for Nintendo of America to bring these games stateside. Aside from the actual event, there has also been 1600 posts on Nintendo of America's facebook page in the last day, and the preorders on Amazon for the game have risen to the point where it is now the 9th ranked game on the site, and 1st for Wii. Whether you're a Nintendo fan or not, this movement is something to look out for and support. We all know that this tool that we have called the "internet" is a powerful thing if used correctly, and we can make this happen!
