    Update: post #16

Well, the other two are almost done and i decided to jump right into this thing with some scratchwork. I considered doing the casting/enlarging process but I'm just too impatient. besides you know what you're gonna get when you measure and cut. the hydrospan stuff is too guessy for me.
so here's what I have so far. the lower legs will obviously be modded and reworked.

the chest is entirely scratchbuilt. the legs are from the walmart "fracture" repaint of classics mirage. The upper arms are classic starscream with some styrene work. forearms starwars/tf starfighter anakin's. hands, gundam 1/100s. the head is a combination of a gundam head, the original kickback head, excellion's face and some styrene and putty. the insect legs are legos.
    plenty more go.
    thanks for lookin guys.

I see i'm not the only one who thought the Lego Atlantis crab set would work for a lot of things. :)

    Nice work so far.

Good gravy! I'd never believe that chest was scratch built!

(Though I DO believe you...just saying, it looks like a perfect replica ;) )

    thanks for nice dudes.
ok it's updating time. I've basically scrapped a few early ideas and went a different direction. one thing about taking so long to finish projects is that several waves of new toys come and go dropping little treasures in their wake.
So I cast the scratchbuilt chest piece and i've decided to go with a little more tech looking kickback than what I had previously planned. he's my favorite insecticon of the bunch.
