Ive never posted on this site. This is a first both in posts and the type of customization that I worked on. Combiner part was a lot more tricky than any of the other stuff that Ive done. Kinda like a square peg in a round hole. I used the parts I had with a very basic tool. I do all my customs with a pocket knife and other stuff I need on the fly. Im sure you guys can see what Ive done. Its basic but the trick is the screw you need to add under the actual connector attached to the armor plate. The strength of this custom is that it uses all the stuff you already have at your disposal just by owning the products youre attempting to customize. No sacrificing anything. Without further ado...
I really hope this helps some of you guys. I remember reading about one of the other members custom and I sat around for a few hours mulling over this. Thanks for checking me out and have a good one. If anyone has questions Im glad to help where I can.

Brilliant. Simply brilliant. Can we get some pics of Bruticus in dynamic poses? Can HeavyBrawn wield the FP weaponry inteded for weaker-Brawn?

so other then a screw, you say everything you to need to do this is already on Heavytread?

It actually looks like he used a hinge off one of the tank limb bots. It's the one that holds the tank treads to the robot. Then screwed it to Heavytread butt and then screwed a combiner port to the other side of the hinge. The problem with this, I think, is that the hinge will be too weak and it won't be able to be posed very well. Than again, I could be wrong.

Also, if I'm correct, there is a sacrifice involved. One of the tank limb bots have to donate a hinge to the cause. Specifically the hinge that connects the tank tread to the robot's back. And of course the combiner port.

Yes, you can get the one made by Process, but it's too big, it has too much extra stuff around the actual combiner port. I don't know of any others that are on Shapeways.

I dont know how to respond individually sorry. Yes the only sacrifice you need to make is the "limb bot". I guess I didnt consider him a sacrifice because I actually used him for a different project. The leg is every bit as pose-able as the original. The part needs a screw attached...which you can get from the same area you need to remove the combining part, fir structural support. It keeps the combiner tab from just tearing away from the joint. If you guys want I can create a guide of sorts. Ill take some "dynamic" poses tomorrow sometime. Thanks again for the comments and feedback.

That would probably be the ONLY PCC figure I get just to do this.

....if I ever find that figure.

I also would love to see a tutorial! It can't be as easy as grabbing a Heavytread, popping off the combiner port off Brawl and screwing that onto Heavytread, is it? (Outside of stripping the paint, recoloring him green, and replacing the old head with a custom one - like from Soundwave3k, that is.) Thanks!

And great job! That mold really does suit G1 Brawl much more than the weird stick-legged, plank-shoe-wearing, double barreled ROTF Brawl mold. XD

Seconded, I've never seen him. There's been a severe TF drought in the 3 towns within a hour radious that I frequent since January.
