    Walmart

    Nike

Looks like Walmart won't make the same mistake, after taking what was reported to be a "wait and see how it does" approach with the first movie. With Nike onboard, will cross-promotional TF/Nike items be far behind?

I predict a slew of poorly made Retros in Autobot and Decepticon colorways.

With Wal mart and youtube in we can be sure that there's going to be lots of promotion for the movie, with youtube there will be lots of production videos and behind the scenes, walmart will have plenty space for TFs products and I'm sure they will keep restocking everything and there will be low scalping probablities this time, so I say It's a pretty sweet deal.

Exclusivity is about the only thing that mold has going for it. It was entertaining for approximately 90 seconds.

Product placement doesn't always mean a commercial. Look at the first movie's product placement: Ebay, Burger King, and of course the awesome Allsparklings.

Youtube? Dear god I facepalmed so hard at the Youtube joke in Hellboy 2. I could live with Ebay because Ebay and Transformers are like cookies and milk.

man michael bay's product placement techniques are so blatant and obvious that this just cannot be good. I understand product placement, but he over does it. how much you wanna bet Sam will be running from decepticons and goes and hides in walmart

I like product placement because I think it's nice to see real world things in movies and not, generic cola #4 or generic Car #456. It's nice to see things in the Movies that you see day to day. Adds more realism for me. Almost like it could happen down the street, instead of in generic country #546.

    That can't be right.

At least Wal*Mart exist. Would you prefer if he walks into a Buy-N-Large store?

I'm sure this product placement will be nice and subtle. Isn't that right, GMC cars, Dispensor, and X-Box 360-bot?

I'd prefer it if he hid in Walgreens or whatever it was, then got kicked out for being drunk & disorderly.

That would possibly be the greatest film scene ever.

I'm not a Walmart fan, but I see an entire aisle of TF2 toys in our future. That will be fun!
