I was surprised by just how many fans out there honestly though that Prowl had somehow suddenly developed “magic” powers with the advent of the recent episode: Five Servos of Doom. I do not think this is actually the case, I do believe there is a scientific explanation behind Prowls levitation ability. Now I will level with you, when I first saw that part of the episode, I too was left a little bewildered. But I looked back on how this whole “Processor over Matter”(Or PoM) was introduced into the show; we first saw it at the end of season 2 in where Prowl uses it to get himself out of a pair of stasis cuffs, he does so by humming, which led me to believe this concept is based on vibrations disrupting the electronics of the cuffs. Later in the episode of FSOD, it’s also shown that simple electronics, in this case a door, can be controlled using the same technique. So with the notion that this ability must be based on advanced harmonics, I decided to see if I could find anything on it being used for levitating(At the very least in theory.) and I found this: Grid Harmonics & Levitation in Tibet, page 1 Not only does it show the concept does in fact have a science behind it, (All be it a very sci-fi based science.) it also ties into the whole martial arts theme they have going with Prowls character. So yes, Prowl does not in fact now have "spiritual voo doo powers". There is a theoretical science behind the concept. At least one that's good enough for a fictional world of sentient alien robots. There was also another aspect to this episode in where people thought that Prowl had teleported at one point. And while teleportation is nothing new to Transformers, (Skywarp.) I think this scene in question was actually Prowl using his holo-decoy. You know, the one he’s showcased throughout the whole series. Oh yeah, and I'll just get it out of the way now: NEEEERRRRRRD!
