I bought the Optimus Prime Alternator and since I transformed my into robot mode, using the instructions so as not to break anything, I have not been able to transform him back to car mode. I can't seem to get the fenders to line up right with the wheels and the hood. Anyone got any tips on how to fix this or had this problem as well?

You have to make sure that when you fold the shoulders back into the truck mode, that you fold them all the way until they *click* in place. if they aren't all the way you're screwed and nothing else will line up right. I had the same problem.

What exactly do you mean by shoulders?

Oooooooooooooooooooooooooh, is that how mine got transformed. I spent about 20 minutes playing around with those arms, and then suddenly, everything went into line.

Yeah, on Alt Prime the shoulders are on little plastic arms that help them fold out, but they stop before they're totally in place and you need to give them an extra push. After the first couple of times it gets easier.

My Nemesis Prime has the same problem, after about 10 tries, I've given up and left him in robot mode.

I've found the best thing to do is put your thumbs *inside* the wheel arches, right against the hinges, THEN push firmly.

I dislike this toy a whole bunch because of that. Even with the knowledge of how the shoulders work, I still have a hard time getting the grey parts the wheels are attached to to line up with the two small black pegs (if that makes any sense). I can get things 90%, but there's always a gap when I close the hood. It's very dissatisfying.

On a positive note, I like robot mode a lot.

Prime and Mirage are the two that almost scare me to transform really. Prime because of those shoulders, and Mirage because mine has some fused plastic issues.
