Problem with my PS3 playing DOTM & other BD'S

    Hi, I recently had a problem with my PS3 playing blu-rays. I was watching DOTM yesterday when I decided to fast foward one scene with the blu-ray remote. When I did, the image froze and the buttons on the remote would not work, I could't even eject the disc from my player. The same thing happened with my blu-ray of The Lion King. Does anyone know how it happens a nd hoe to fix it.

    Do you have a first edition glossy cover 60/80 gb hardrive? Or a PS3 'slim'?
    It might depend on how old the system is.

    My PS3 is the first edition, had it since christmas 2007. That is for Unicron FTW.

    So you've had it for four years. Hmm. Long time. It could be deteriorating from age or use. I'm just throwing stuff out there, I really have no clue how this crap works.

    Maybe you should look for a solution on google or youtube, i dont think anyone here could help you with it since were transformers fans most of us are not technicians lol

    Mine's a first edition 80gb with the shiny stuff and it plays fine
