There was a tweet about that saying both Wheeljack and Starscream would be making appearances. It was featured in the news here a while ago, I think???
His alt mode was never revealed, but I was under the impression his ship... was well, his ship. You can clearly see the outline of it when he crashes and starts fighting.
As Starzie said, Wheeljacks ship is not his alt-mode. They're both separate from each other. His actual alt-mode will be a car, as evidenced by the wheel-kibble on his character model, and the fact that his toys turn into one.
It took me a while to figure that out. And he better come back because him showing up for only one episode was total bullshit.
Noted. Anyway, in Exodus most Wreckers chose to stay in Cybertron, so maybe Arcee and Jack meet with him there (they should have a base there)..
Not a bad idea for the other Wreckers, but as Wheeljack left he said that he'd roam the galaxy to see what else is out there, and maybe he could find some of the old crew. Doesn't necessarily mean he won't go back to Cybertron, but that line seemed like he wanted to just check out other planets.
