Breaking: Fox cancels 'Prison Break' | Prison Break | Ausiello Files | EW.com
Finally. Y'know, I liked that show when it first started, but damn if it didn't go on forever. And worse, it just got stupid around the halfway point.
Damn, I liked this show too
Can't say I'm surprised as the show has seemed to run it's course. Loved every minute though. What will I fill my void on Monday nights with? I just hope they end the series on a good note and nothing crazy.
finally! I mean really what else could they do? IMO the show should've been 1 season and that's it.
The real date to remember is January 21st.
Only watched some of the 1st season. Did they keep getting put back in the pen?
I was wondering how they could keep this ongoing.
I guess the theme of the 2nd season was the prison of the mind. Even though they're out they can't actually do anything, and there's a lot of guilt, regrets etc.
Ah. I figured it would be something like that. Thanks.
Haven't they been out of prison for like a season and half now?
This does not make me happy. I can understand how some have seen this show run it's course but it still provides thrills. Hopefully Fringe will be a keeper on FOX.
1st season was in a US prison. 2nd season was them on the run in the US. 3rd season they make it Panama, but some of them end up thrown in a Panamaian prison by shadowy figures. 4th season is a continuation of that story, but in LA so it's cheaper.
Never got into the show, but I always thought it would make a better mini-series.
Season 1 was brilliant. Season 2 was great. Season 3 was pretty good. Season 4 has been a huge mess. I'm not surprised it's going.
Lost interest late on in Season 2. I'm indifferent about this news.
My girl is gonna be desvastated by this.
as for me ....I liked the show but by now it felt....messy and sorta rehashed
So what I thought what the series was about was actually true?
I never watched it but heard the first season was great. I remember flipping through the channels during season 3 and was like "Why're they back in jail? And this time in a different country? They must be THE dumbest criminals ever!"
qft, 2 seasons too late imo. You know, after they actually broke out of prison and all that...
they cant keep getting into prison and back out again. it was rather pointless after the first season for me.
I remember the Prison Break Season 1 DVD's bonus features. Peter Stormare did an interview in which, I'm certain, he was joking around. He said something like, "We'll never run out of material. We'll escape from (lists like a dozen countries). Who knows where we can break out of prison next?"
Considering the plot of Season 3, Stormare's joke became quite prophetic.
