Sorry if this isn't the right place. I'm sure someone can punt this if necessary. I just got back from meeting Matrix Soul in person at Times Square TRU! This is weird, the Primus WITH the Unicron head was initially $55.99. The Primus WITHOUT the Unicron head was $49.99. It was a good thing I scanned them both. We then brought this pricing difference to the attention of an employee/manager. After all was said and done. We got the Primus WITH the Unicron head for $49.99! We just wanted to let other board members know.
At least the Unicron head version has been found in the US. For a while there, I was afraid they'd all been shipped overseas.
What surprises me is that he was actually purchased from a TRU. They haven't had anything first here since Cybertron was released.
But I do have give credit where is due, the employee that we talked to immediately brought this to the manager's attention, and soon gave them to us at the normal price, so they weren't dick about it at all.
Weird. All the Primuses, both with and without the bonus Unicron head were marked at $49.99 at my local TRU.
You mentioned before the TRU at Times Square is sometimes a little higher in price, I wonder if it's specific to that store due to it's location.
That doesn't suprise me. They're still trying to sell Starscreams for $49.99 at the TRU here when everywhere else discounted them.
I see similarly higher prices at retail stores at the Mall of America here in Minneapolis. Probably a Times Square TRU thing, but I'll check the price on my Primus when I find it.

This is blown out of hand, every TF in TRU Times Square is more money. The odd part was you got a Primus for $49.99 there. TRU is selling the Unicron Head for the same price as a normal one $49.99. TRU Times Square adds more money to their stuff because it is a tourist attraction.
I'd have to agree, if they both rang up as $55.99, then the whole "Tourist raise" would make sense, but not when there are 2 price points. but hey, I guess in Time Square $6 for a little head is a common thing
Yes and no. Some of the prices are raised and some of the prices are regular. The Super Starscreams were 49.99 and the Alternators and Voyagers were 19.99 but the LOCs were 4.49, and I think the basics were 7.99. Matrix Soul, you and your naughty jokes.
